Kanakuk Kamps are eight non-denominational Christian athletic camps with seven located in Southwest Missouri and one in Southwest Colorado. Kids ages 7 to 18 may attend Kanakuk for seven, thirteen, or twenty-five day terms. Kanakuk was founded in 1926 as a ten-week camp for boys and has grown over the past 77 years into a network of camps hosting over 20,000 kampers each summer. Kids Across America Kamps is a sports camp committed to reaching the inner city youth of our nation with the love and power of Jesus. With the vision of reaching more than 100,000 kids in the next decade to revolutionize inner city America, KAA began in 1978 using Kanakuk Kamps facilities. Kanakuk Institute began in May of 2001 designed to train college graduates in the practical and Biblical knowledge needed to have an effective and sustaining influence in the world for Christ. K-Life is a youth ministry focused on mentoring and discipling today's teenagers. Working on a community-wide scale, K-Life networks kids from different churches (and those without a church affiliation) to build positive, godly relationships that can withstand the negative peer pressure so prevalent in today's youth culture. K-Life began as a follow-up ministry to campers from Kanakuk, and K-Life's relationship with Kanakuk continues to be an important part of it's vision and heritage. Click here to learn more...
